Bye bye Rotterdam!
We were more excited than our daughter Arya to see the lit up animals across Essen’s Christmas market. Brilliant food, beautiful atmosphere. It’s a must visit
We finally visited a Christmas market in Europe at Essen, a beautiful little city with the best shopping and friendly people. English doesn’t always work but the delicious food transcends language barriers!
Paris has these beautiful parks right next to beautiful busy boulevards. When the weather is right it feels great to sit there and watch the world pass by!
A few steps from Caret sit vendors selling small little Eiffel towers under the larger one. For a moment we stepped back and observed the people. Some excited at probably catching the first view of the building, some locals walking buy nonchalantly and some trying to make a living selling memories in the form of keychains. Simply beautiful. Eiffel!
And if you are lucky, and go early enough, you’ll find the path to St Mont Michel relatively empty and you can capture the beauty of this rock in the middle of nature. It’s beautiful!
